Jasmine Cheek is a Brooklyn-based writer and photographer, soon pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing. She posts on Substack, under the pseudonym "Girl Genius" and has amassed over 19,000 views. Her photography centers mundane moments of human connectivity, stillness, and familial portraiture. Her writing, meanwhile, consists of short fictional stories, personal essays, and longer form creative nonfiction. She is inspired by the relationship between sexuality, desire, and self.
